Handling

Offloading is ideally done pneumatically, using high pressure dry air to transfer from delivery truck to the customer site storage silo. Generally, PPC Lime’s contractors road trucks are fitted with blowers to aid with the offloading. Customers therefore need not have blowers onsite.

Storage

Storage silos should ideally have pressure relief valves for preventing excessive silo pressure and dust collector for the exhaust air to prevent air pollution during offloading
